Writer | Speaker | Former Banker
My journey began in the classrooms of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, a place that laid the early foundation for my ambitions. After completing my graduation in Business Administration , I stepped into the fastpaced corporate world, beginning my career as a Relationship Manager at ICICI Bank.
In those early days while working in bank, my definition of success was conventional and admittedly, very self-centered. Like many young professionals, I believed that true achievement was measured by the number on a paycheck and the possessions I could acquire.
I set a clear finish line for myself; I’ve to get promotion, buy iPad and my dream bike Royal Enfield within a year. I gave my work everything I had and within a year, I found myself where I once hoped to be. I had achieved what I thought I wanted
I still remember what Socrates once said
“The secret of happiness, you see, is not found in seeking more, but in developing the capacity to enjoy less”
But when the initial thrill faded, I was left with an unexpected and profound sense of emptiness. The success I had chase relentlessly felt completely hollow inside. Despite having “made it” on paper, I was questioning the very purpose of the race I was running
It was during this confusing period that I found my guiding lights. I have been incredibly fortunate to cross path with mentors Bindi Sankar Ma’am who taught me to look beyond the surface. Later, within the demanding environmet of the bank, my supervisor, Anirudh Sinha and Richa Ma’am became my unexpected teachers.
They offered me lessons that went far beyond banking, targets, and corporate ladders
Their teachings inspired me to look past material milestones and begin a genuine, deeply personal search for higher meaning. Through their guidance, I realied that a life lived only for oneself is fundamentally incomplete.
My corporate experience, which once felt like a hollow pursuit of wealth, became the very catalyst that led me towards the timeless path of ancient wisdom
“Today, my intention is to share the insights born from that journey to help others rise above the noise, and create a life of purpose and clarity”
Why I Quit Banking

To me ICICI was more then just a bank. It was my toughest, most rewarding teacher. I still remember the rush of busy mornings, quick tea with coworkers, and the quiet pride of surviving hard days.
ICICI pushed me to my limits and taught me how to stay calm under heavy pressure and it was in this exact environment where I discovered my life higher purspose.
While working there, I realized that my real, lasting happiness didn’t come from hitting targets or chasing personal gain, it came from genuinely helping others. This profound shift in perspetive is ultimately led me to step away from my banking career.
